Red button
A red button, as simple as it is universal, appears in the center of the gallery. Icon of power and catastrophe, historically tied to the possibility of absolute destruction, it becomes here pure presence. No instructions are required: its very existence awakens the temptation to touch it, to activate the unknown.
In this work, the button does nothing. Action and consequence rest entirely in the spectator’s conscience. To press or not to press? The decision becomes a mirror of our age: a minimal gesture evoking the greatest dilemma. A silent monument to the human impulse toward self-destruction.
